Project details

A total of approximately 64 MWp of power plant is planned for the Pyykkialho area in Harjavalta. In addition, an electricity storage facility of about 15 MW is being planned. The power plant would be located next to Highway 2, south of the city centre of Harjavalta. The project was granted a building permit in 2025.

What's next?

The tendering process for EPC operators has been completed and negotiations with the operators are ongoing. At the same time, we are preparing an investment decision. Construction will begin in autumn 2026 at the earliest.
