This is what good energy looks like.
We develop renewable energy, which brings investments, tax income and jobs to Finland. We believe in the power and sense of community that come with working together, as we know that we cannot change the future alone. With the help of our renewable energy expertise and networks, together with our customers and partners we are bringing vitality to the entirety of Finland.
Our vision is to make Finland a renewable energy superpower.
We specialise in emissions-free, industrial-scale solar power projects complemented with energy storage, wind power and hydrogen solutions to ensure a reliable and secure energy supply in the future. In all that we do, we start from the individual characteristics and opportunities of each area.
The overall project, which constitutes one of Finland’s largest solar farms, will incorporate not just solar power but also a hydrogen production, storage and distribution station. After completion, the project will produce approximately 200,000 megawatt-hours of electricity, which corresponds to the consumption of 40,000 people on average. Utajärvi is Finland’s first solar farm to be connected to the Fingrid main grid. The objective is for the project to be implemented in 2023–2026, and the overall budget is approximately EUR 150 million.

Solar farms are set to be built at the Hitura mine in Nivala and at the Callio mine in Pyhäjärvi in vacant mining infrastructure. The aim of the project is to create the preconditions for further utilisation of disused mining areas in the Nordic region. The project will see the construction of two solar farms spanning around 160 hectares and providing a total of 7.5 MW of electricity storage. The total budget of the project is approximately EUR 61 million.
