Kaartola

A solar power park of approximately 75 MWp is planned for the Tyrnävä Kaartola area. The project area is located approximately 6 km west of the centre of Muhos and 9 km east of the centre of Tyrnävä.

The planning requirement decision and building permit application was submitted at the end of 2024. Next, an extensive bird survey will be carried out in the area, which will be completed after the autumn migration. The building permit can therefore be waited for possibly in October 2025. After this, the preparation of the investment decision. Construction could begin in spring 2026 at the earliest. In this case, the park would be completed in late 2027 or early 2028.
