Pääskymäki

An industrial solar power park with a panel capacity of approximately 35 MWp is being planned for Pääskymäki in Loppi. The project area is about 55 hectares and it consists largely of agricultural and commercial forest areas. When completed, the solar power plant will have an annual production of 40 GWh, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 2,000 detached houses.

A planning requirement decision has been granted for the project, and the next step is to apply for a building permit in spring 2026. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2026, when the power plant could be completed in 2027.
