The aim of the third phase of the overall Utajärvi project is to expand the Vierivoima network to a new commercial and industrial area spanning approximately 250 hectares in Hietaselkä. Vierivoima will provide self-sufficient and affordable energy for businesses in the area. The production of green hydrogen in the area will also be possible in the future.
