Mika Paloranta will leave his position as CEO of Skarta Energy and Ville Ojanen has been appointed as the new CEO and Santeri Ahokas as the Executive Vice President of Skarta Energy. Ville has been Skarta Energy’s CFO since November 2023. Ville has diverse experience in managing finance, business and people in different industries. Prior to joining Skarta Energy, Ville has worked as CFO, CCO and in other management roles. Santeri Ahokas joined Skarta Energy in August 2023 as Director, Projects. Santeri has a strong background in international business and team leadership in demanding projects.
Skarta Energy is a developer and producer of renewable energy. We specialize in emission-free industrial-scale solar power projects, which we complement with energy storage. We develop and produce emission-free solar power projects for our own electricity sales as well as projects for sale to others.
In line with our updated strategy, we will focus on large projects of over 50 MWp in Finland. We invest especially in the development, licensing, construction and sales of high-quality and profitable projects. Our projects combine technical feasibility, economic sustainability and responsible land use.

We can supply approximately 100 GWh of electricity per year from our already commissioned solar power plants, and more from our high-quality and extensive project portfolio.
