The PPA offtaker only pays for the electricity they purchase, at a predetermined price. No project development costs; no investment costs; no legal, technical, or operational risks. Skarta Energy takes care of the construction, financing, project management, insurances, and operation and maintenance of the solar power plants.

At the moment, we offer long-term power purchase agreements for the operating solar power plants in Isosuo and Pälkänevesi in Utajärvi and for the solar power projects in Koirivaara and Pyykkialho under development. Check out the projects below.

Utajärvi 107 MWp

In operation – Isosuo solar park: 107 MWp solar power plant + 20 MW / 40 MWh BESS

The solar park in production in Isosuo is located in a former peat production area in Utajärvi. The power plant will produce approximately 97 GWh of renewable energy per year.

Pälkäne 5 MWp

In operation – Pälkäne solar park: 5 MWp solar power plant

The solar park in production in Pälkäne has been built in connection with an industrial area. The power plant will produce approximately 4.5 GWh of renewable solar power per year.

Tohmajärvi 40 MWp

Under development – Koirivaara solar park: 40 MWp solar power plant + 10 MW / 20 MWh BESS

The planned Koirivaara solar park in Tohmajärvi will be built in a disused peat production area. Once completed, the power plant will produce approximately 30 GWh of renewable energy per year.

Harjavalta 64 MWp

Under development – Pyykkialho solar park: 64 MWp solar power plant + 15 MW / 30 MWh BESS

The solar park planned for Pyykkialho in Harjavalta will produce approximately 56 GWh of renewable energy per year when completed.
