We are a renewable energy project developer and power producer

Skarta Energy is a renewable energy project developer and power producer. We specialize in emission-free utility-scale solar power and battery energy storage projects. We develop emission-free solar power projects both for our own electricity production and for sale to others.

We invest in the development of high-quality and profitable projects that combine technical feasibility, economic sustainability and responsible land use. More specifically, we focus on projects with a capacity of more than 50 MWp in areas with high level of solar radiation. All our projects are located in Finland

Our goal is to utilise land areas which are easy to build on and where construction would have the least possible impact on local nature – such as wasteland and abandoned or low-yielding farmland

We are Finland’s largest solar power producer

We develop and produce renewable energy for industrial use. We own and operate Finland’s largest solar power portfolio. We are currently able to supply over 100 GWh of electricity annually from our existing solar farms, and more from our upcoming projects.

Good energy responsibly and with professionalism

We offer efficient clean energy solutions for industrial needs all over Finland. We develop and implement demanding energy projects with professionalism and expertise, as well as responsibly and transparently. We have earned a five-star rating in the GRESB sustainability benchmark already for the second consecutive year

We will enable the green transition by producing 800 MWp of solar energy in Finland by the end of 2030. To succeed, we work in close and long-term cooperation with municipalities, companies and landowners locally and nationally. We are developing our operations in cooperation with our owners, CapMan Infra, which specialises in infrastructure investments, and Nyab AB, an expert in energy construction.
