Skarta Energy becomes a member of Finnish Energy

In February 2023, Skarta Energy Oy became a member of energy sector advocacy organisation Finnish Energy. This will strengthen Skarta Energy’s efforts to speed up the energy transition and become a notable expert across multiple areas relating to renewable energy. Together, Skarta Energy and Finnish Energy are creating a new success story for the Finnish economy based on the hydrogen economy. This is being carried out not just through substantial industrial projects, but also through mid-sized regional and local implementations.

“Finnish Energy is a key reference group for Skarta Energy, and this membership puts us in an even better condition when it comes to encouraging dialogue amongst the sector and stakeholders. This is particularly important now, with energy markets in the midst of the greatest upheavals they have ever seen. Together, we can take Finland’s future as a renewable energy superpower into our own hands,” believes Skarta Energy’s Managing Director Kari Tuominen.

Some of the foremost and most topical of Finnish Energy’s and Skarta Energy’s common interest are improving the predictability and smooth running of the permit process for renewable energy projects and implementation of technology neutrality in legislation and taxation at all scales.
